WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF 'HOT' PING PONG".

The Association "AIASP" index for the year 2013, the first international race of cultivation called "WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF 'HOT' PING PONG". The event is open to all amateur growers, members and non-members who want to test their ability to cultivate. The purpose of the competition is to cultivate a pepper plant (any species / variety can be used) inside a ping pong ball. The minimum target will be to bring the pepper plant to fruition (and ripe fruits attachments).

Participation in the competition is free.

 

 

The following rules governing participation:

1. To be eligible to enroll in the forum (http://www.aiasp.it/forum) and send an email at info @ aiasp it with the subject WCHPP writing in "I Want. Participate "indicating full name along with the nickname used on the predicted forum;

2. And 'the obligation of the person concerned to register on the forum AIASP because it will create a Topic with your name, where they will be posted photos of the plant (or plants) by writing the names of the varieties (you can compete with up to 3 varieties);

3. The race begins April 1 and ends on September 30 (also valid for the other competitor’s hemisphere);

4. The ping pong ball must be on the top of a hole with a diameter of 1 cm and max on the bottom of a hole with a diameter of 0.5 cm max useful for water drainage. You are forbidden to let the roots grow out of the drainage hole (if any roots appear, they must be cut off). To check if the competitor is in good faith, will post once a week a photo of the plant on the forum of the Association (http://www.aiasp.it/forum) in section prepared for the race;

5. Full freedom is given to the participants to choose the type of soil and the technique of fertilization to take (leaf, liquid, etc.);

6. The final picture will be posted within the deadline of the competition in dedicated section of the forum AIASP (http://www.aiasp.it/forum). Are allowed a maximum of 3 photos of the own plant (front, from above and one with a reference metric together with photo of the top and bottom holes);

7. A first selection of plants will be presented by the participants started the race. The first six who have had the highest score will be submitted to the jury Steering Committee dell'AIASP which in turn will award the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize;

8. The plants will be evaluated based on the following parameters:

a. Appearance overview: score 1-10;

b. All attachments between fruit and ripe score from 1 to 10;

c. Luxuriance Foliar score 1-10

WCHPP World Championship of hot Ping Pong.

L’Associazione “AIASP” indice per la campagna di coltivazione 2013 la prima gara internazionale di coltivazione denominata WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP OF 'HOT' PING PONG. L'evento è rivolto a tutti i coltivatori amatoriali, soci e non soci, che vogliono mettere alla prova le proprie capacità di coltivazione. Lo scopo della competizione è quello di coltivare una pianta di peperoncino (qualsiasi specie/varietà può essere utilizzata) all'interno di una pallina di ping pong con l’obiettivo minimo di portarla a fruttificazione (frutti allegati e maturi). La partecipazione alla gara è gratis.
Di seguito le norme che regolano la partecipazione:
1. Per poter partecipare occorre iscriversi al forum (http://www.aiasp.it/forum) ed inviare un email all’indirizzo "info @ aiasp.it" con oggetto WCHPP scrivendo all’interno “Io Voglio Partecipare” indicando Nome e Cognome unitamente al nickname utilizzato sul predetto forum;
2. E’ fatto obbligo al soggetto interessato di iscriversi sul forum AIASP perchè verrà creato un Topic con il proprio nome, dove dovranno essere postate le foto della pianta (o delle piante) scrivendo i nomi delle varietà ( si può concorrere con max 3 varietà);
3. La gara inizia il 01 Aprile e termina il 30 settembre (valido anche per i concorrenti dell'altro emisfero);
4. La pallina di ping pong deve avere sulla parte superiore un foro con diametro max 1cm e sulla parte inferiore un foro con diametro max 0,5 cm utile per il drenaggio dell'acqua. È vietato far crescere le radici fuori dal buco di drenaggio (eventuali radici devono essere sempre tagliate). Per verificare se il concorrente è in buona fede, dovrà postare una volta a settimana una foto della pianta sul forum dell’associazione (http://www.aiasp.it/forum) nella sezione predisposta per la gara;
5. E' data piena libertà ai partecipanti di scegliere il tipo di terriccio e la tecnica di concimazione da adottare (fogliare, liquido, etc);
6. Le foto finali dovranno essere postate entro il termine di scadenza del concorso nella sezione dedicata del forum AIASP (http://www.aiasp.it/forum). Sono ammesse massimo 3 foto della propria pianta (frontale, dall'alto ed una con un riferimento metrico unitamente alle foto dei fori superiori e inferiori);
7. Una prima selezione delle piante presentate sarà avviata dagli stessi partecipanti alla gara. Le prime 6 che avranno avuto il punteggio più alto saranno sottoposte alla giuria del comitato direttivo dell'AIASP che a sua volta assegnerà il 1° , 2° e 3° premio;
8. Le piante saranno valutate sulla base dei seguenti parametri:
a. Aspetto, visione d'insieme: punteggio 1-10;
b. Totalità tra frutti allegati e maturi: punteggio 1- 10;
c. Rigogliosità fogliare: punteggio 1-10
